Civil Litigation Attorney

For over 17 years I have served both individual and corporate clients throughout California in an increasingly diverse practice, including wrongful termination and discrimination/harassment claims, wage & hour/consumer protection class actions, advise & counsel to corporate clients, legal malpractice, contract and business disputes, pharmaceutical product liability, personal injury matters including elder abuse, and appellate work.

However, for more than a decade I have primarily specialized in plaintiff-side employment litigation, advise & counsel for corporate clients, and legal malpractice (though I have continued to handle a wide variety of litigation matters up to and including trial or arbitration).  I find this diverse set of experiences, including representing both plaintiffs and defendants, provides me with a good perspective on where liability may lie and how to avoid it.

Based on my extensive litigation experience, I believe I'm able to bring a cordial, efficient, and forthright approach to the legal profession.  My practical approach earned recognition from my peers, including selection as a Top 50 “Fast Track” attorney from The Recorder magazine in 2012 and as a “Rising Star” from Super Lawyers magazine from 2012 through 2019.

I was born in L.A. and graduated from the U.C. San Diego, where I majored in political science and public law, and minored in management science. I attended Pepperdine University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. While in law school, I earned a full-ride scholarship based on academic excellence, was an associate editor of the Pepperdine Law Review, and a member of the Order of the Coif.

My free time is spent with my gregarious young daughter, my wife, and our cats.  If I don't pick up your call, I may be busy with them.
